💙 Blue Sunday | April 26 💙
Blue Sunday is a national day of prayer where faith-based communities and churches come together to lift up children impacted by abuse—and those who work every day to protect and care for them.
In partnership with Friends of Care Net Chilton, we invite you to join us on April 26 by praying for child abuse victims and those who rescue them.
There are several meaningful ways to participate:

🔹 Download and use the Blue Sunday Toolkit (includes a bulletin insert, sample prayer, graphics & video)

✨ Throwback Thursday ✨

Looking back at these sweet memories reminds us just how long our community has been showing up for moms and babies in Chilton County. 🩵

Donations of baby clothes and essential items have always been such a meaningful way to support the families we serve. Through our parenting classes, our clients are able to earn “Baby Bucks” to shop in our boutique and provide for their little ones—and the best part is, this system is still in place today! 🍼

Because of generous hearts like yours, we’re able to continue walking alongside families with encouragement, education, and practical support.

Thank you for being a part of our story—then and now. 🩵

We are currently in need of NEW car seat donations for Care Net of Chilton County!

These car seats go directly to the amazing moms and families who have successfully completed our pregnancy classes—parents who have worked hard to prepare for their little ones and are taking important steps toward building a safe, healthy future for their babies.

A safe car seat isn’t just a gift—it’s protection, peace of mind, and a way to show these families they are supported and not alone.

If you feel led to give, your donation can make a real and lasting impact in the life of a child right here in our community.

In this room, women are learning, growing, and being encouraged every step of the way through their pregnancy journey. From understanding what to expect, to preparing for motherhood, to simply having a safe place to ask questions—our pregnancy classes at Care Net of Chilton County are about so much more than information… they’re about support, community, and hope.

No one should have to walk this season alone, and here, they don’t have to.

Care Net of Chilton County was honored to attend Butterfly Bridge’s Child Abuse Prevention Month kickoff 🩵🦋

It was such a meaningful time standing alongside others in our community who are passionate about protecting and advocating for children. Events like this are a powerful reminder that it truly takes all of us working together to make a difference.

We were also so glad to run into our friends from Raleigh’s Place while we were there! We love partnering with organizations who share the same heart for serving families and children well.

Together, we can be a voice for the vulnerable and bring hope, healing, and support to those who need it most. 🦋🩵

In September 2006, Care Net of Chilton County opened its doors with a heart to serve women and families facing unplanned pregnancies. What started as a small group of passionate volunteers stepping out in faith has grown into a ministry that continues to impact lives every single day.

From those very first pregnancy tests and counseling sessions to the many services we offer now, one thing has never changed—our commitment to walk alongside each person with compassion, support, and hope.

We are so grateful for the faithful supporters, volunteers, and community members who made this possible then—and who continue to make it possible today. 🩵

Because of you, lives have been changed for nearly 20 years.

Yesterday, Part of our team and Board President Jeremy Jones had the opportunity to attend Lenten Lunches at Mt. Nebo Methodist Church. We are so grateful to be one of the organizations receiving the generous donations given—what a blessing it is to be supported by such a caring community!

We were also excited to share about Blue Sunday, as Butterfly Bridge and Care Net have partnered together for this special day on April 26th. We invited local churches to join us in participating as we come together to pray for and bring awareness to the protection of children. 🦋🩵

We are thankful for every opportunity to connect, share, and serve!

Yesterday, our Executive Director Ashley and House Director Kennise traveled to Montgomery to take part in the Children’s Trust Fund Pinwheel Garden—marking the kickoff of Child Abuse Prevention Month.

Care Net of Chilton County is honored to be a grantee of the Children’s Trust Fund, and we are grateful to stand alongside others in raising awareness and advocating for the protection and well-being of every child. 💙
