Valentine's Day Dried Floral Bouquets 💐

As a seasonal flower farm, we don't offer fresh bouquets during the winter months -- but we do have our dried floral bouquets. All grown, cut, and dried right here on our farm. They're the perfect way to brighten up your space during the cold winter days.

For a limited time, our Valentines Day Dried Floral Bouquets are now available for pre-order through Wednesday, February 11. Quantities are limited, so be sure to order soon!

Each bouquet will come beautifully wrapped with a sweet Valentine's "To & From" tag - ready for gifting.

The not-so-pretty side of flower farming—washing seed-starting trays.

This is one of those tasks that should have been done during the warmer months… but got pushed aside. Now I’m spending the day inside, trying to tackle it in the least messy way possible.

A couple more months and these trays will be filled with little seedlings 🌱

2. We treat our tulips as annuals- plant new each year

3. We harvest the entire plant- the bulb and stem, this helps when storing in a cooler

4. December is the latest we have planted tulip bulbs

5. Cut tulips continue to grow in a vase and bend towards the light

Getting some work done from the comfort of my car, coffee in hand.

School pick-up means leaving way too early just to get a decent parking spot. Sometimes what feels like an inconvenience ends up being the exact time I need to sit down and get a few things done.
As a mom of four, I try to make the most of the little bits of time I get. Today that means making plans and finalizing our seed order. So excited for this upcoming season and grateful to have you following along.

We’ve been facing a few challenges the last couple of days with losing power.
It’s really made me slow down and focus on the things I can still be thankful for each day, and to learn how to handle the little inconveniences that pop up.

We’re still able to stay warm, I’m able to enjoy a hot cup of coffee and we have plenty of light thanks to all the candles I always find myself wanting.

It reminds me a lot of flower farming — things don’t always go as planned, something might not grow, but you learn how to work around it and stay thankful for what is growing.

If you’re one of the many who has lost power, I hope you’re able to stay warm. And to the families sending their utility worker out to work in these conditions — I’m praying for protection and safety for them all. 🤍
