A huge huge thing I see as the weather starts to cool down is a lack of hydration. As soon as we aren't hot and sweating all the time, we forget that water exists. Having more muscle soreness, cramping, stiffness? HYDRATE!!!!! (And no, coffee doesn't count)
It's amazing how the body works when we give it what it needs to function π Think of it like putting gas or oil in the car. Without it, stuff is going to start breaking down fast.
If you know you're lacking, maybe try out some electrolyte/hydration sticks that you add to your water!
Occasionally someone will tell me "If I drink too much water during the day, I have to get up a lot at work to use the bathroom." You should be getting up frequently to move and give your body a break from sitting! You see it as a negative but my massage therapist brain only hears "I'm hydrated and moving my body!"
So, go drink a cup of water and promise me that you will take EXTRA good care of your bodies as we move into the new season πππ€πΌ
