Mosquitoes can't give you HIV.
Here's why:
🦟 HIV doesn't survive in mosquito bodies
🦟 The virus can't replicate inside insects
🦟 Their feeding isn't like a needle injection
When mosquitoes bite, they inject saliva (not blood) to prevent clotting. Any tiny blood amount gets digested completely.
This myth has caused unnecessary fear for decades.
HIV spreads through specific body fluids - not bug bites.
What other HIV myths have you heard? Let's clear them up together.
