🏝Aloha From CVAL🏖
We traveled to Hawaii in the am and learned about their climate, culture, and animals, and even picked up a few Hawaiian words. Did you know the Hawaiian alphabet has only 12 letters!?
In the pm we had a Winter Luau. We hung snowflakes in the dining room and hallway , that the resident had made earlier out of lunch sacks.
The residents and staff dressed in Hawaiian attire. Bright colors, grass skirts, and leis with a twist of winter... scarves, beanies, and boots!
We enjoyed some Hawaiian refreshments, Hawaiian music, did a little hula dancing, and had a fun photo shoot!
We are OHANA!

☃️Snowmen Crafts☃️
The residents had a blast making our little snowmen sock craft! They had rice everywhere! They laughed about the many shapes the snowmen ended up having. Some were fat and sassy, and others were on a keto diet! They all did a great job and their lil snowmen turned out so cute!

Please bring your loved ones a nice dress or sports jacket as we will be taking pictures.

There will goodies to snack on and a genre of different tunes. All are welcome to attend!
