When the weight of the world feels overwhelming, pause and come back to yourself. đź’ś

You don’t have to carry everything at once. Here are a few gentle ways to support your mind, body, and heart in overwhelming moments:

✨ Name what you feel — awareness softens intensity
✨ Limit the noise — step back from constant updates
✨ Breathe deeply — in for 4, out for 6
✨ Ground yourself — notice 5 things you can see, 4 you can feel
✨ Move your body — release what words can’t hold
✨ Focus on what you can control — even something small
✨ Anchor into your values — choose one meaningful action

This is not about disconnecting—it’s about staying rooted while the world moves around you and getting clarity on what meaningful actions you can take.

Save this for when you need a moment to come back home to yourself. đź’ś

There’s something truly powerful about creating space for girls to be seen, heard, and celebrated 💛

Our team had such a meaningful and FUN time partnering with The Lighthouse Project to facilitate Mental Health Awareness & Art sessions for middle school girls across Southern California. Through creativity, connection, movement, and conversation, these young girls showed up with courage, honesty, and so much heart.

It was a gift to witness—and celebrate—the strength, resilience, and brilliance of girls and women in the making. Every story shared, every piece of art created, and every moment of vulnerability reminded us just how powerful it is to invest in the next generation.

Here’s to continuing to uplift, empower, and create spaces where girls and women can rise 🌿✨

This month, we’ve been centering connection, trust, and the power of women supporting women.

✨ Question:
What is one message you want women everywhere to hear this month?

💬 Dr.Janiel’s Answer:
“No one can confine you to a single definition. Your experiences, identities, values, and roles are intricately layered—woven together to form the fullness of who you are: imperfect yet beautiful, ever-evolving, and profoundly capable. Every battle you fight matters, even those unseen by others. Never forget that when you walk in your own power, you inspire others to do the same”

Take a moment today to pause and reflect: What unseen battle have you overcome that has shaped the strength you carry today?

Did you know that economists estimate that closing gender gaps in participation, leadership, and work could add up to $28 trillion to the global economy if women participated in the labor force to the same extent as men? 💡

This figure comes from the McKinsey Global Institute’s Power of Parity research on gender equality’s economic impact, showing how much untapped potential exists when women’s talents are fully included in economic life.

This highlights not just fairness, but the massive benefits of gender equality for societies everywhere. Let’s keep pushing for equal opportunity in work, leadership, and economic access.💜

“This women’s history month, I want every woman to hear this:

Trust your inner wisdom. Listen to your body. And know, deeply, that you are not alone. You are surrounded by a collective of women rooting for you—a lineage stretching from your ancestors, rippling out to your family, old friends, new friends, and even the friends you haven’t met yet. Feel yourself held and supported by their love.” 💜 -Nicole Paredes, LCSW

There’s something deeply inspiring about being in a room where women show up fully as leaders, changemakers, and storytellers. ✨

We were honored to attend and support the EmpowHER Women’s Leadership Summit hosted by the Multicultural Business Alliance and Hope Through Housing ✨

Being in a room filled with women sharing their stories, wisdom, and leadership journeys was truly powerful✨

Each story was a reminder that the impact we make—whether in our workplaces, communities, or families—creates ripples far beyond what we can see. Every woman carries a voice, a vision, and a circle of influence that helps shape a stronger, more empowered future.

Thank you to the organizers and every incredible woman who shared her journey. When women rise together, communities rise too. đź’«đź’ś

Inner game is more important than the outer game as the former gives you the foundation to make a bigger impact on your outer game.” — Leena Nair✨

This Women’s History Month, the theme Leading the Change: Women Shaping a Sustainable Future reminds us that lasting impact begins within.✨

When women strengthen their inner game—our mindset, courage, clarity, and purpose—we build the foundation to lead meaningful change in our communities and for future generations.💜

At Women Rise, we believe the work we do within fuels the change we create in the world. 🌱

What inner strengths are you cultivating to lead the change?

We are feeling so full of gratitude after attending the annual Women’s Healing Generation Luncheon hosted by House of Ruth. 💜

What a powerful gathering of hearts committed to healing, justice, and hope.đź’ś

Thank you to the inspiring panelists and speakers who shared their wisdom and lived experiences with courage and grace. To the facilitators and healers that guided us through grounding moments, and to the dedicated sponsors and vendors who provided their support, the planning committee who planned every detail, And to every community member in the room—your presence matters.

Together, we are not just raising awareness. We are actively working to end the cycle of domestic violence and interrupt patterns that can echo across generations. Healing truly is generational work.

It was an honor to stand alongside so many who believe that safety, dignity, and empowerment are possible for all women and families.

With deep appreciation for this community and the movement the is building—in community. 💜✨

Join our interactive 3-part virtual workshop series led by Kelisha Bhari of Keck Graduate Institute, in partnership with Women Rise. This experience is designed to help you build intrinsic motivation and create sustainable health and wellness habits that actually fit your real life.

But first… pause and reflect:

✨ Are you tired of setting intentions… only to feel frustrated a few weeks later?
✨ Do you start strong and then quietly slip back into old patterns?
✨ Are you exhausted from relying on willpower alone?
✨ Do you crave habits that feel aligned — not forced?
✨ Are you ready for change that actually lasts?

If you’re nodding yes, this is for you.

This interactive 3-part series will help you understand why habits stick (or don’t), reconnect with your intrinsic motivation, and create wellness practices that feel supportive — not overwhelming.
