The Northeastern Oklahoma Cancer Network offers monthly support through gas or grocery gift cards to help ease the burden during treatment.

Northeastern Oklahoma Cancer Institute is here to guide you through your next steps after a lung cancer diagnosis. So, what is the best course of action to live the happiest and healthiest life possible?

The truth is that your treatment plan depends on many factors including stage of cancer, overall health, and current lung function. The 2 main types of lung cancer, NSCLC and SCLC, are treated fairly differently. NSCLC commonly offers more treatment options; however, both types have been known to be treated by radiation therapy, chemotherapy, immunotherapy, surgery, or palliative. It is also possible that a few forms of treatment may be used. Your healthcare team will create this treatment plan personally for you.
