💡 November is National Long-Term Care Awareness Month. This month shines a light on the importance of planning for long-term care, and families are encouraged to take the time to consider the care options for loved ones who may require specialized assistance due to age, illness or disability.

Long-term care is more than just health care — it’s about creating a safe, supportive and nurturing environment where individuals can continue to thrive with dignity and respect.

Whether through memory care, assisted living or respite care, Bristol Village offers a range of services designed to meet the unique needs of each resident. Bristol Village also prides itself on never asking a resident to leave solely based on their inability to pay. Donor support helps us subsidize the cost of care for both current and future residents at a reduced rate, thus providing access to more families.

November is Alzheimer’s Awareness Month, and Bristol Village proudly stands united with the millions of families affected by this heartbreaking disease.

Join us in the "Light the World in Teal" initiative to educate the public about the disease, support those affected by it, and encourage action through research, early diagnosis and support for caregivers.

Teal is the Alzheimer’s Awareness color of the Alzheimer's Foundation of America (AFA) because it has been shown in color psychology studies to be a calming and comforting color. It also represents the courage, strength and resilience of those impacted by Alzheimer’s.

🏠 At Bristol Village, we are dedicated to providing compassionate care for those with Alzheimer’s and dementia. Our Memory Care team is committed to creating a safe, nurturing environment where residents receive the care they deserve while navigating the challenges of memory loss.

Our Memory Care Unit enjoyed a day of immersive programming earlier this week!

First, they experienced the sights, smells, tastes and textures of autumn in the Fall Sensations program. That was followed by a Rhythm & Beats session, where residents joined in a lively musical exploration — tapping, clapping, and playing bells and tambourines to the beat together.

Laughter, smiles and shared moments filled the room. It was truly a delight for every sense! 🍂🎶

🍁🎃 Fall Fun at the Great Pumpkin Farm! 🎃🍁

A group of residents from Bristol Village had a gourd-geous day visiting the Great Pumpkin Farm in Clarence earlier this month! From festive displays and pumpkins of every size to crisp autumn air and hayrides, it was the perfect way to celebrate the season. 🍂🧡

Thank you to everyone who joined us — and to The Great Pumpkin Farm for such a memorable outing! 🌻
