💛Mg is Claudia’s lifelong friend, #1 supporter, and someone who has shared countless milestones and memories alongside her. We couldn’t be more proud of all she has accomplished throughout her career, and we are endlessly grateful for the profound ways she has enriched Claudia’s life.

💛After many years of serving as Claudia’s one-to-one aide, Mg now holds the role of Supervising Life Skills Trainer for The Summit Center’s STEPS program at the Claudia’s Club location—continuing to lead with compassion, dedication, and heart.

💛Turning 18 is a major milestone for individuals with special needs. It’s the age when many transition out of school programs and families suddenly face the big question: “What’s next?”

💛Resources for adults do exist, but not nearly enough to support the growing number of people who need meaningful opportunities, connection, and community.🏠💗

💛That’s why Claudia’s Club exists — to help fill that gap and create inclusive spaces where adults with developmental disabilities can learn, socialize, and thrive.

✨’Tis the season of giving! Last week, The Summit Center’s STEPS Williamsville location paid it forward by using their can and bottle deposit money to support community members in need. Participants helped restock Beyond Support Network’s food pantry and spread some much-needed holiday kindness.💗💙

🎉One year of Claudia’s Club!💗💙🏠 One year ago today, we officially shared our family’s decision to embark on this incredible journey, and what a year it’s been! The love, support, and encouragement we’ve received from each of you has meant the world. Seeing our dream come to life — for Claudia and for others with developmental disabilities — has been nothing short of a blessing.

💛Many don’t realize what happens after children with special needs age out of the school system. That’s why Claudia’s Club exists: to shine a light on an area that’s often overlooked, and to build awareness, acceptance, and opportunities for meaningful connection in WNY.

💛What began as a conversation six years ago is now a growing reality, and we’re so inspired by the progress made and the possibilities still to come.

The Summit Center holds a very special place in our hearts — Claudia began attending school there at just 4 years old and proudly graduated from Summit Academy this past June.

Today, we’re honored to continue that connection as partners with The Summit Center, bringing our STEPS at Claudia’s Club program to life!💗🏡💙
