, This week, we’re excited to introduce Dan, who has been a valuable member of the Clarion Psychiatric Center team since May 2023 as a Mental Health Technician. Dan’s favorite motivational quote says it all: “Why do we fall? So we can learn to pick ourselves up.” It perfectly captures his outlook on life and work, where he’s known for his upbeat energy and commitment to teamwork.

Dan’s passion for building strong teams extends beyond CPC. He is currently in his 14th year of coaching basketball and is proud to be leading his first year as varsity coach at West Forest. A lifelong sports fan, Dan cheers passionately for Penn State football, plus, he is a devoted Steelers supporter. One of his dreams has been to play basketball at Tippin Gymnasium, Penn West University, a goal he’s had the chance to fulfill six times.

He credits a strong work ethic to early experiences working on a farm alongside his former basketball coach, where he learned the value of hard work and dedication.

Dan’s positivity and dedication inspire not only his team here at CPC but also the patients he cares for. He truly embodies the spirit of a coach, and we are proud to have him on our team.

When asked about Dan, his peers stated: 🙌
💚Team Player! Supportive of night shift team. I can always depend on him to do whatever is needed
💚The BEST sense of humor!
💚Dan is a pleasure to work with. He is incredibly kind and is always willing to jump in, go the extra mile, and help the team.
💚Dan’s interactions with patients are genuine and he definitely makes a difference.

Please join us in thanking Dan and celebrating all he brings to the CPC team! 🎉

It's #͏f͏e͏a͏t͏u͏r͏e͏f͏r͏i͏d͏a͏y, Meet Caleb - Utilization Review Specialist, Musician, and Outdoor Enthusiast! 🎶

Caleb has been a dedicated part of the Clarion Psychiatric Center family since 2007 - an impressive 18 years, soon to be 19! Caleb’s journey at CPC started on the floor as an MHT, where he gained experience working across multiple units. He then moved to admissions before transitioning to his current role in the utilization review department.

Caleb’s favorite way to contribute to a positive work culture is by keeping the vibe upbeat and making people laugh. He believes work should be enjoyable, and he strives to bring that energy every day. When he’s off duty, you’ll find him fishing, enjoying the outdoors, or playing video games.
When asked about Caleb his teammates had a lot to say! They shared: 👏
💚Caleb is always helpful and supportive. I can always count on him no matter what.
💚He is great with patients and being able to talk to them and make them laugh.
💚His energy and awesome sense of humor make me laugh and keep me going when I'm having a not so good day, I can always count on him to make me laugh with one of his silly jokes. Caleb has a way of making mundane things fun.
💚Caleb is honest, real, and an enjoyment to work with. He is enthusiastic and a breath of fresh air to work with.
💚Caleb is one of my most favorite coworkers, friends and people overall!
💚Caleb is a good person. He picks me up when I'm feeling down. He's willing to help with anything I ask.
💚He connects with people and his sense of humor makes people feel better. He saved my life one time too. He's just a really good friend I enjoy working with.
💚If you need a good laugh, Caleb is your guy! I have always enjoyed working with Caleb and appreciate his sense of humor and willingness to always ask 100000 questions (haha). He brings the fun into any work atmosphere.
💚Caleb is charismatic. He is able to build a rapport with the patients quickly and get them laughing with his jokes.

Please join us in recognizing Caleb’s many talents and his commitment to making CPC a great place to work! 🎉

Earlier this week we celebrated 🎉the staff at Clarion County Children & Youth Services by providing them with a breakfast catered by .cafe.clarion and a small token of our appreciation for each staff. Monies were raised through our quarterly jeans drive fundraiser.
We applaud 👏 their focus on child protective services and family support to keep our children in Clarion County safe and in their homes. A caseworker is available 24/7 by calling 911 for emergencies.

, we are excited to share a message about Suzanne, RN a valued member of the CPC family! Suzanne joined our team in 2015.

Suzanne is deeply family-oriented and devoted, her greatest joy is spending time with loved ones. That same care shines through in how she treats everyone around her. She enjoys new adventures with her family, often traveling in their RV with her husband Keith (yes, our very own maintenance technician!) to warm destinations near water.

From early in her career, Suzanne learned that the most important thing at work is creating a great customer experience. She believes how you treat people makes all the difference, not just for them, but for yourself and your workplace. Known for her positivity, Suzanne helps others find the bright side and loves guiding people to discover their purpose, just as she does for herself and her family. Her passion for caring extends beyond CPC. When she retires, Suzanne dreams of dedicating herself to community service, supporting people in need in any way possible.

When asked about Sue, her peers commented:
💚Sue is very sweet and kind, I don't think she has a mean bone in her.
💚She is a great team player and floats around to all the units with confidence.
💚I always enjoy working with her!
💚Sue is very kind and genuine.
💚She is a team player and helps out others when needed.
💚Team player, cares about the patients, embodies everything a nurse should be.
