My grandma always used to say, “Red sun in morning, sailors take warning.” I certainly hope there is some truth to the old adage. It is drizzling here this morning, and we could sure use a nice rain to help support fall pastures.

We are expecting fall calves any day now, but look what I found in the pasture instead of baby calves early this morning? (Hint…zoom in on the row of hay bales). Four red fox kits playing chase in the crisp morning air!! They raced up and down the rows of bales and rolled and tumbled over each other just like kittens!
