✨ It’s December again… and I’m no longer 17. ✨
At 17, I dreamed of becoming a speech-language pathologist. I never imagined that dream would grow into owning a clinic where we help our community eat, sleep, speak, and breathe better.
I never knew we would one day:
• Lead prenatal education courses to empower families,
• Have a registered dental hygienist certified in oral myofunctional therapy
• Cherish the guidance of a sleep coach,
• Celebrate the transition of our own SLP/CLC into the IBCLC certification.
• Run a clinic from the other side of the country ( truly I am going to post about this soon LOL 😂)
From womb to tomb, we walk alongside families—supporting infants still in the womb, children finding their voice, and those in end-of-life care. Every December, with my birthday, the holidays, and the close of the year, I reflect on how far that 17-year-old dream has carried me.
I feel immense gratitude for the opportunity to serve families in Pennsylvania, on the Western Slope of Colorado, and virtually across the country. And I feel tremendous pride in the clinicians who are the heart of Lingua—your dedication makes this vision possible every single day.
