I have an innate resource that allows me to face challenges. A passed down inheritance not in shape of a house or belongings, but rather something deep inside.

Lately, there has been no shortage of the challenges. And it always takes me back to my why.

My DNA is filled with the endurance and courage of my ancestors. A spirit of resilience like no other. While not the same culture, there is no denying that my heritage is in great company to the spirit displayed in this years superbowl half time show.

Generations young and aged dancing, music playing loudly, food at the center of family gatherings, display of the struggles native to the land, and even the kiddo who falls asleep mid party… ( that was always me btw). The sense of pride because you make it through the struggle, together.

Everything I do I do in the honor of those who came before me - the ones who had to move forward and leave their homeland with I am sure so much fear but a lot more strength.

There is no denying with all the snow days and two hour delays in NEPA you may walk into Lingua and notice a few more extra feet running around.

Because even though we treat everyone from infants to aging adults, we’re still a family‑friendly clinic at our core. Working motherhood is hard, and I’ll always do what I can to ease that load for my team. Opening the clinic to their crew is one small thing I will always encourage whether that is baby wearing through a session or joining a play session!

So if you see an extra kid (or two) running around, say hi. They may be in a ball pit or being a doctor in the moment and without their amazing hard working moms, we simply could not exist!

This is what community looks like. This is what support looks like. This is what we’re building together.

Happy Birthday to Mr. Lingua- The best teammate I have ever had. ( besides for i mean, come on )

A year ago, we found out when we were moving to rural Colorado. That left us with a few short months to get four clinics wrapped up and moved into one new, gorgeous, clean and welcoming space and while Mr. Lingua and I were already engaged. This is really when I knew that I picked the best teammate possible - one that does not just support my dreams, but to share in my dreams with. As a dual career private practice owner, this is never been easy for me, but I especially knew that closing chapters on satellite clinics and moving across the county would be ‘the times are tough’ . Nevertheless, with him - it is easier.

You deserve the best day Mr. Lingua and it is my favorite thing ever to make sure that happens. ♥️

If you know me, you know I *love* love. I always have. Valentine’s Day has been one of my favorite little holidays since I was a kid — the softness, the sweetness, the excuse to celebrate connection in all its forms. Thanks for that mom and dad!
