Floating is a powerful treat for your brain. Within a few minutes, most individuals will move from beta into alpha waves, feeling relaxed and at ease.

Those who remain still and allow themselves to rest will then move into theta waves, existing in that ethereal space between wakefulness and sleep.

And recent studies have shown that some individuals even reach delta waves when floating - but while they're still conscious! That's a pretty remarkable state of mind!
