What Is Hydrodissection and How Can It Help?

Patients often ask me what hydrodissection is and how an in-office procedure can help with long term nerve pain and mobility issues.

At Restorative Limb Center, I’ve developed a precision-based approach using ultrasound guidance and advanced techniques to identify and release pinched or irritated nerves in the legs and feet. By visualizing the nerve in real time, I’m able to deliver targeted care that focuses on the root cause, not just the symptoms.

Every day, patients tell me how this approach has helped them move more confidently, reduced their risk of falls, and restored mobility they thought they had lost. Hearing how their quality of life improves is exactly why I do what I do.

If chronic nerve pain, weakness, or instability is limiting your life, I want to help change that.

Did you know? Neuropathy doesn’t only happen in “full-blown” diabetes. It can start even in prediabetics, even after years of “borderline” blood sugar.

What that means: If you’ve had prediabetes for years, or recently found out you’re prediabetic, you’re not in the clear when it comes to nerve health. Damage can slowly begin in the tiny nerves of your feet or hands, long before blood sugar reaches the level of diabetes.

Common early signs to watch for:

* Tingling, burning, or “pins and needles” in your feet or hands
* Numbness or loss of feeling
* Pain that worsens at night
* Weakness in feet or lower legs
* Reduced balance, frequent falls

The good news: Neuropathy risk can often be reduced, especially early. Studies highlight that lifestyle changes (diet, exercise, weight control) and early monitoring can slow, or sometimes prevent, nerve damage.

If you have prediabetes or risk factors, such as overweight, high blood pressure, family history of diabetes, it’s worth talking to your doctor or podiatrist about "Early nerve check-ups and foot care**.

Don’t wait until symptoms are severe, early detection makes a big difference.
