Join Somerset County FCHS Educator Shailja Mathur, M.S., M.Ed., RDN tomorrow, Wednesday March 18th at 12:30pm as she discusses Your Plate Has Power- Discover it this March for National Nutrition Month. This presentation will introduce the National Nutrition month theme " Discover the power of Nutrition". Audiences will get ideas for behavior change and we will do some myth bursting. The presentation will connect food to health outcomes like diabetes, heart health and weight management.

🚨 Gloucester County to Host NJ Disaster Response Crisis Counselor Training

Gloucester County will host the In-Person NJ Disaster Response Crisis Counselor (NJDRCC) Initial Training Series from March 16–18 at Rowan College of South Jersey.

Gloucester County residents 18 years and older who are interested in disaster mental health are encouraged to participate in this 3-day training series, where attendees will complete the required classes to become a certified NJDRCC in Gloucester County.

This training provides an important opportunity for residents to learn how to support individuals and communities during times of crisis and disaster.

This Tuesday at the Logan Branch Library, Understanding Dementia is a program designed to provide a comprehensive overview of Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia. Alzheimer’s New Jersey will discuss the various stages of Alzheimer’s disease, the process of getting a diagnosis, strategies for caring for someone with dementia, and much more.
