Davis-Weaver Funeral Home, Inc., was established in the early 1940's by John Huffman Davis and Harry G. Davis, who was a prominent early funeral director in Harrison County. Weaver was a native of Elizabeth, WV., and joined Mr. Davis in this venture. At its present location since 1945, Davis-Weaver Funeral Home is located at 329 East Main Street, in Clarksburg, West Virginia, the historical Despard Mansion on “Quality Hill”. Through the years the funeral home has been known for providing comfort and services to families in their time of bereavement. The funeral home continues to be independently and locally owned and operated, to best serve area residents’ needs. Davis-Weaver Funeral Home, Inc., is a name that has become synonymous with thoughtful, dignified and affordable funeral services to all Central West Virginia families. The funeral home’s caring competent staff takes care of arrangements to meet the family’s needs. They follow through with post-funeral services such as assistance in insurance and governmental forms. Staff members also assist families as they work through the grief process. Davis-Weaver Funeral Home’s qualified and caring personnel accept telephone calls 24 hours a day, seven days a week, to answer your questions.
