Hi! I hope everyone is having a great start to the fall! I wanted to provide some updates regarding the Covid vaccine as well as flu shots.

Our office should have flu shots around September 26th. I will notify you when they are in. Most pharmacies already have them in stock and have started giving shots. There is some concern that the flu season may start earlier this year and be more severe so I recommend everyone getting a flu shot this year by the end of October.

The new bivalent Covid boosters are also available. Both a Moderna and Pfizer vaccine are available for patients over the age of 18 who have completed a primary series as well as one or more boosters. This bivalent vaccine has more protection against recent variants. It should be at least 2 months since your last dose. We do have the Pfizer bivalent booster available thru our office. Both vaccines are available at certain pharmacies.
