We are considering doing something different and would like your input as professionals in the business.
For over twenty years, I have been teaching CPR and First Aid, and we have folks attend our training: some learn how to save a life; others are only there because they have to be there.
We here at would like to do something different in 2023. Concept: Blended learning of First Aid and CPR with the online session followed by an in-person Remoter Skills Verification session (RSV), which is only 30 to 45 minutes of skill verification (in-person hands-on), followed by Active Violence Emergency Response Training ( ) where the student learns observation skills, behavior analysis, emergency trauma medicine (stop the bleed), a two-hour session, followed by 1 hour OC Spray (Pepper Spray and Gel usage), and finish with Opioid Overdose, 1-hour Naloxone (NARCAN) Administration. A 5-hour training session where people can walk away better prepared for today's real world.
At the end of the training day, they walk away with a 2-year certification for FR/CPR, 2-year certification for , a completion certificate for Naloxone, and OC Spray attendance. This would be a good Team Building for Businesses, Retail, Services, Schools, Places of Worship, Childcare providers, and anyone in the Health Care field.
