New Heights Assisted Living

New Heights Assisted Living Located in Clarkston, New Heights Assisted Living is a 6 bed Adult Foster Care home which provides long term, 24-hour care for the aged.

Our facility offers residency to individuals who are aged, who have dementia or Alzheimer’s disease, along with others who are in need of 24 hour assistance. Nutritious meals and snacks will be provided according to recommended dietary standards, and staff will provide assistance with basic daily living skills as needed. Residents will receive assistance with medications, including administration, acquiring re-fills, monitoring for possible side-effects and keeping a medication log. We have daily activities to stimulate memory, physical and mental strength, and provide interactive daily living where the resident’s will feel comfortable and cared for. In addition, we seek to engage the community in the home as well as opportunities for the residents to engage in local festivities. We work to create a stimulating environment to help our residents continue to grow intellectually, emotionally, and spiritually. Trained staffing will be available at all times to assure our residents safety and that they receive the best care and assistance possible to meet their needs.

This past weekend we had a Mardi Gras party! We made masks and drank freshly made Mardi Gras punch. We did Mardi Gras and New Orleans trivia and games. Followed by some highlights from this year's Mardi Gras parade. We listened to some jazz music as well! Our first ever Mardi Gras party was a fun success thanks to Steve and Nina!

Happy 100th birthday, Phyllis! What an amazing, fun, love filled day with our lady from start to finish yesterday! We were still partying even after the sun went down all circled up together and blowing off firework confetti for her birthday! What a living legend we have in our home! We are so blessed and honored to have Phyllis a part of our lives and to be able to celebrate this monumentous occasion with her! 💜
