This November we are celebrating Robin's 3rd year working at our office and Carrie's 4th! Both of these ladies combined bring together over 50 years of dental office experience to our business team.

Whether they are answering calls, educating our patients on their financial investments, managing our office schedule, processing insurance claims and payments, or following up on many miscellaneous office tasks. We can always count on them to go above and beyond not only for our office to run smoothly but for our patients best interest as well.

We are so lucky to have them and we look forward to many more Novembers celebrating these two!

Our favorite hygiene team stepped out of the office today to attend a continuing education course on Orofacial Myofunctional Disorders (OMD).

Our office has offered Myofunctional Therapy for over 10 years. We have helped patients correct oral habits such as difficulty swallowing, mouth breathing, sleep breathing disorder, tongue thrust, oral restrictions such as lip/tongue ties, and many more.

It is our goal to further educate our hygienists on early signs and symptoms to diagnose potential myofunctional concerns for patients that come in for routine visits.

Our hygiene team spent the day out of the office attending courses on the topics of local anesthetic and diabetes and the link to dental conditions.

Local anesthesia is a method used by dental hygienists to numb specific areas of the mouth making procedures more comfortable.

With over 15% of Americans with a type of diabetes, this was a very important educational opportunity for our team.

We love to see these five going the extra mile to better support our patients!
