Expo is almost here! Make sure you run on over to Somers Foot & Ankle's booth this coming Tuesday and meet Dr. Somers and her team. Dr. Somers offers treatment for many foot conditions, skin conditions, foot injuries and specializes in getting her patients back on their feet!

Our Support Local Expo is a community wide event that is held at Mott High School and open to the public from 5:30pm - 7:30pm. We can't wait to see you there!

Somers Foot & Ankle is seeking a motivated, personable, and high energy team member, who welcomes the opportunity to learn and increase their value in the field of Podiatric medicine.

We are seeking a professional, PART-time, Medical Assistant/Receptionist

The hours are Tuesday – Friday from 7:45AM - 4:30PM (New hire will start working Monday through Thursday until fully trained once that has happened the schedule will begin Tuesday through Friday) 

Salary: $16-18/hr (based on experience)

Requirements:

Must be able to work in a very fast paced environment

Must have high school diploma or equivalent

Must have reliable transportation

Strong communication skills

Computer proficiency highly preferred

Must be a team player with a positive attitude

Good work ethic

Responsibilities:

Adhere to HIPAA laws and OSHA standards

Maintain accurate medical record of patient care, conditions, progress and areas of concern

Rooming patients

Prepare patients for exams/procedures

Taking vitals and detailed medical history

Setting up for procedures

Keep rooms and equipment clean between procedures/patients

Obtain lab test and other reports for physician review

Perform other tasks as needed to assist physician

Restocking rooms

Sterilizing instruments

Knowledge of sterile procedures

Clean and stock rooms

ATTENTION TO DETAIL is a must. Person must be willing to work both back and front office. Our office will be closed Wednesday, November 24th starting at 2pm, Thursday, November 25th & Friday, November 26th for Thanksgiving. We will reopen Monday, November 29th @ 8am.
