Charity Goodell has been a valued member of the TriState Health team for nearly seven years, serving in Human Resources and currently as our Benefits Administrator. During her time at TriState, Charity has worn many hats within HR, beginning as an HR Generalist in 2016, transitioning to Employment Coordinator in 2018, taking on the Training & Development Coordinator role in 2022, and moving into her current position in 2023. Her well-rounded experience and deep understanding of HR operations have made her an incredible asset to both the department and the organization.
In her role, Charity manages TriState Health’s employee benefits program, ensuring regulatory compliance, coordinating with insurance carriers and plan administrators, and guiding employees through benefit enrollments and changes. From onboarding new employees to answering benefit questions, advocating on behalf of staff, and assisting employees and families during times of transition, Charity supports employees throughout every stage of their journey at TriState. She says the best part of her job is the employees and their families, and it shows in the care and dedication she brings to her work each day.
"TriState offers competitive wages and a great benefit package. These are a couple of the reasons I choose to work here," said Charity. "I also feel that I am a valued team member, which makes me feel appreciated." She describes her coworkers as professional, organized, and supportive. "We encourage and offer support to each other. It is nice to know we are not on an island!"
The Chief of Human Resources shared, “Charity consistently goes above and beyond for employees, bringing a positive attitude and steady approach to everything she does. Over the past few years, she has made meaningful improvements to the benefits administration role, and her commitment to employee well-being does not go unnoticed. TriState Health is fortunate to have someone who cares so deeply about the people behind the organization.”
Outside of work, Charity enjoys spending time with family and friends. She and her husband also love playing music with their band, Drummers Injurying Guitars (D.I.G.), and attending live music events. Charity also has a special connection to TriState Health—her grandparents, Wayne and Helen Bartlett, were among the original supporters, making her role here even more meaningful.
Thank you, Charity, for your dedication, heart, and the countless ways you support the TriState family in your role every day.
