FIRST, LET ME APOLOGIZE TO EVERYONE. DUE TO UNCONTROLABLE CIRCUMSTANCES WITH MY HEALTH I WAS FORCED TO STOP WORKING FOR A WHILE.

I AM NOW RELEASED TO GO BACK TO WORK FULL TIME AND TAKING CARE OF ALL OF YOU.

SECOND, AS WE MOVE INTO THIS NEW TAX SEASON KEEP IN MIND THAT THE IRS IS STILL SEVERAL MILLION RETURNS AND PIECESES OF MAIL BEHIND.

LIGHTNING HAS TAKEN OUT THE PHONES AND THE DOORBELL. HOPE TO HAVE THEM FIXED LATER TODAY.

CITY HAS CRAWFORD STREET CLOSED TO THROUGH TRAFFIC FOR THE NEXT FEW DAYS, NOT SURE WHY.

EXTENSIONS WERE FILED FOR EVERYONE LEFT AT THE OFFICE.

WORKING AS QUICKLY AS WE CAN TO COMPLETE RETURNS.

OFFICE HOURS HAVE CHANGED FOR THE SUMMER.

MONDAY AND FRIDAY 9AM TO 2 PM.

EVERYTHING ELSE WILL HAVE TO BE BY APPOINTMENT ONLY UNTIL I CAN GET ALL THE MEDICAL APPOINTMENTS OUT OF THE WAY.

FIRST I WANT TO SAY THANK YOU FOR ALL THE PRAYERS, LETTERS, CARDS, FOOD, WELL WISHES AND BIRTHDAY WISHES. EVERYONE IS FINALLLY HOME FROM THE HOSPITAL AND ON THE ROAD TO RECOVERY AFTER MONTHS OF SICKNESS AND COMPLICATIONS DUE TO COVID.
I AM TRULY HUMBLED AND BLESSED WITH GREAT CLIENTS AND FRIENDS. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR PATIENCE AND UNDERSTANDING. HEALTHWISE, HOPING 2022 IS A MUCH BETTER YEAR NOT ONLY FOR US BUT ALL OF YOU. MAY GOD BLESS, HEAL, RESTORE, PROSPER AND PROTECT YOU ALL.

NOW FOR SOME BUSINESS.

WE ARE NOW OPEN MONDAY THRU SATURDAY 9AM TO 6PM AND CLOSED ON SUNDAY'S. NO APPOINTMENT IS NECESSARY UNLESS YOU NEED BEFORE OR AFTER REGULAR HOURS.

AS WE KICK OFF THIS NEW TAX SEASON, KEEP IN MIND THAT AS OF DECEMBER 31, 2021, THE IRS WAS APPROXIMATELY 8 MILLION RETURNS BEHIND AND 11 MILLION PIECIES OF MAIL BEHIND FOR 2020 AND SOME PREVIOUS YEARS AND HAVE HIRED 8,000 NEW IRS AGENTS THEY HAVE TO TRAIN.

THOSE OF YOU WHO RECEIVED THE CHILD TAX CREDIT JULY TO DECEMBER OF LAST YEAR WILL RECEIVE A LETTER TO BRING IN WITH YOUR TAXES AND YOU WILL ALSO NEED TO KNOW HOW MUCH OF THE LAST STIMULUS MONEY YOU RECEIVED ( THE $1400 EACH) AND SHOULD HAVE A LETTER FOR THAT ALSO.

THE PHONE SITUATION WITH THE IRS IS NO BETTER KICKING OFF THIS NEW YEAR.

i have been unable and hesitant to post this but i need to let everyone know what has happened.

i and my husband have been in and out of hospitals and doctors due to complications from covid since mid june and at first they were not sure either one of us was going to survive. my husband is still waiting to have surgery. this made our 3rd time to have covid.

the phone went out mid july and could not get repaired due to being quarantined so much as they would not and were not able to come inside. hopefully they will be repaired soon now.

sarah and her family also had covid during this time also and was quarantined for eight and a half weeks.

therefore none of us were able to work.

if you have tax returns here, they will be ready for pick up tomorrow, friday october 15th.

i do apologize for the delays and getting so sick.

thank you all for your patience and understanding.

THE TAX FILING AND PAYMENT DEADLINE HAS BEEN EXTENDED TO MAY 17TH DUE TO ALL THE RECENT CHANGES FROM THE IRS AND THE STATE.

WE CONTINUE TO WORK AS FAST AS WE POSSIBLY CAN TO GET EVERYONE DONE AND READY TO PICK UP.

WE WILL CONTINUE TO WORK AS FAST AS WE CAN TO MAKE ALL THE CURRENT CHANGES TO EVERYONE'S RETURNS AND GET THEM COMPLETED.

I HAVE BEEN MADE AWARE THAT SOME OF YOU ARE GETTING MORE OR LESS STIMULUS THAN EXPECTED THIS TIME.

YOU WILL HAVE TO CALL THE IRS IF YOU DID NOT RECEIVE WHAT YOU EXPECTED.

THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE TAX PREPARERS AND ALL WITH THE IRS.

GO TO IRS.GOV TO GET FACTS ABOUT THE STIMULUS PAYMENTS.

THIS MORNING SOME TIME, THE IRS WILL BE SENDING THE CHANGES DOWN TO US THAT HAVE AFFECTED ALMOST EVERYONE'S TAX RETURNS. WE WILL BE COMPLETING RETURNS AS FAST AS WE POSSIBLY CAN WHEN THE CHANGES ARRIVE.

THIS WAS OUT OF OUR CONTROL.

IRS ALSO STATED THAT NO AMENDING RETURNS AFFECTED BY THESE CHANGES YET UNTIL THE TELL US HOW THEY WANT TO HANDLE THOSE RETURNS DONE BEFORE THE CHANGES.

WILL CONTINUE TO KEEP YOU POSTED.

LAST NIGHT MICROSOFT DID AN UPDATE THAT AFFECTED THE WINDOWS PROGRAM AND IS CAUSING ALL KINDS OF PROBLEMS WITH EVERYONE'S COMPUTERS EVERYWHERE.

MY COMPUTER REPAIR GUY SAID THEY CAN'T FIGURE OUT THE PROBLEM AND ARE WAITING ON MICROSOFT SO SEND THE "FIX" FOR THE PROBLEM.

THIS WILL SLOW DOWN WORK IN THE OFFICE TODAY, UGH!!!

ALSO, BE AWARE THE IRS AND THE STATE ARE STILL MAKING CHANGES THAT ARE GOING TO AFFECT EVERYONE'S TAX RETURNS. I WILL UPDATE YOU AS I GET THE INFORMATION.

THIS WILL GO DOWN IN HISTORY AS THE WORST TAX SEASON EVER!!

ON WED MAR 3RD AT 3:04 PM THE STATE OF ARKANSAS PASSED ACT 154 MAKING THE UNEMPLOYMENT BENEFITS TAX EXEMPT FOR THE 2020 AND 2021 TAX RETURNS.

SOME OF YOU WILL RECEIVE OR HAVE RECEIVED CORRECTED UNEMPLOYMENT FORMS AND THOSE HAVE TO BE TURNED IN.

IF YOUR RETURN HAS ALREADY BEEN DONE BEFORE THIS ACT WAS PASSED, IT WILL HAVE TO BE AMENDED WITH THE CORRECT FORMS.

LET YOUR ORIGINAL RETURNS PROCESS BEFORE AMENDING TO AVOID ANY CONFUSION AND DELAYS IN YOUR REFUNDS ALREADY SENT THROUGH.

OUR OFFICE WILL GO BACK TO ALL RETURNS BEFORE THE ACT WAS PASSED AND WILL BE AMENDING THOSE AS TIME ALLOWS AND THE ORIGINAL RETURNS HAVE BEEN PROCESSED.

KEEP IN MIND, UNEMPLOYMENT IS STILL TAXABLE ON THE FEDERAL RETURNS.

I KNOW EVERYONE IS WONDERING WHY IT IS TAKING LONGER THAN NORMAL TO GET YOUR RETURNS BACK THIS YEAR.

I HAVE HAD ONE EMPLOYEE OUT WITH COVID FOR 14 DAYS AND WE WERE CLOSED THE WEEK OF THE SNOW.

I DO APOLOGIZE FOR THE DELAYS. I CAN'T GET EVERYTHING DONE ALONE WITHOUT MY HELP.

JUST WANTED TO TAKE A MOMENT TO LET EVERYONE KNOW THAT THE IRS HAS 300,000 PIECES OF MAIL THEY STILL HAVE NOT PROCESSED FROM 2020. IF YOU HAD TO MAIL ANYTHING IN FOR ANY REASON AND IT SAYS THE DON'T HAVE IT, WELL THEY DO BUT NOT IN THEIR SYSTEM UNTIL THEY PROCESS THE MAIL.

DURING 2020 PANDEMIC THEY WERE WORKING REMOTELY AND ONLY IN OFFICE 2 DAYS A WEEK. LIMITED TO WHAT THEY CAN ACCESS REMOTELY DUE TO LAWS IN PLACE TO PROTECT YOUR INFORMATION.

THIS HAS CAUSED GREAT STRESS FOR YOU AS THE TAXPAYER AND US AS TAX PREPARERS.

WRITE LETTERS TO THE TAX COMMISSIONER, CALL THE IRS, WRITE OR CALL YOUR CONGRESSMEN AND REPRESENTATIVES AND COMPLAIN. IT'S THE ONLY WAY THINGS WILL GET DONE.

IF YOU RECEIVED A TEXT TELLING YOU THAT YOUR TAXES ARE READY, I BELIEVE THE WRONG DATE WAS SENT. THE DATE SHOULD HAVE SAID THE 20TH NOT THE 21ST.
