This week, we took time to honor and thank all the brave men and women who have served our country. Your courage, sacrifice, and dedication to protecting our freedoms will never be forgotten. 💙❤️

In other exciting news, we have some big changes happening with our Resident Council program — including the election of our new President and Vice President! 🎉 We’re so proud of everyone stepping up to help make a difference in our community. And to top it all off, we’ve been singing our hearts out at karaoke — lots of laughter, great tunes, and even better company! 🎤💃🕺 There’s always something to celebrate here — from honoring our Veterans to lifting our voices together in song. ❤️

Congratulations Cheyenne Hearn, Culinary Manager, our Quest for Excellence winner for 2025! We are looking forward to honoring this year's outstanding Quest Winners at the banquet on November 13 at the Marriott in Indianapolis.

Cheyenne joined the Riverview team in August of 2021 and has been in the healthcare field for 10 years. Since joining our team, she has made invaluable
contributions.

Cheyenne has always worked in the food industry but states “I never felt complete.” She loves to help people, so she decided to make the change to the long-term care field to enable her to help in elderly communities.

Cheyenne truly embodies the ASC Care values and shows compassion to all residents every day. Her kitchen runs very smoothly, and she has led the kitchen with pride and high standards; under her leadership, the dietary department has received zero deficiencies. Cheyenne is passionate about ensuring our residents don’t just get good-tasting meals. She makes sure they receive the highest level of nutritional value and encourages healthy eating through her menu.

Cheyenne also sees that fellow employees are shown the love during employee events. She caters for all the events with a smile, always going above and beyond to ensure the food is perfect for everyone.

Cheyenne loves the outdoors and enjoys hiking, camping, fishing and canoeing with her family, which includes four kids and a dog. Cheyenne’s favorite quote is “You will face many defeats in life but never let yourself be defeated.” We celebrate Cheyenne’s winning spirit and congratulate her on this honor.
