What if nourishment meant more than food? What if it was the way you listened to your body, cared for your mind, and honored your pace?

This week’s Getting to After invites you to rethink nourishment as self-respect, not restriction. It’s a soft, steady reminder that feeding yourself, physically and emotionally, doesn’t require perfection.

Guiding you through a simple EFT Taping Transformation to release tension, reconnect with your body, our goal is to support you in finding and restoring ease where pressure once lived.

💚 Finally, Nourishment Without Guilt

Sitting still with your kids after survival isn’t easy. The quiet can feel strange—like your body forgot how to breathe without fear. But with time, those breaths start to feel like freedom again.

I know how hard it is to rebuild calm after chaos, but it’s worth every effort. 💜

Inside the latest Getting to After Magazine, you’ll find my free guided breathing download. It’s made to help you and your body remember what safety feels like.

💜 Breaking Silence: The Courage to Speak Your Truth

This month has been one of the hardest and most meaningful series we’ve created to date. “Fine Is Not the Truth” closes out our Domestic Violence Awareness Month 2025 series. It's a masterclass in reframing language and reclaiming voice.

So many survivors learn to say “I’m fine” just to stay safe, keep peace, or hold it together. But fine isn’t freedom. And this conversation is all about learning to speak honestly, with safety, self-compassion, and strength.

Inside this episode, Morganne and I share how to:

✨ prepare for tough conversations — at work, with family, and within yourself
✨ use language that honors both your healing and your boundaries
✨ gently release anxiety through short EFT tapping moments between dialogue

It’s real, raw, and rooted in the kind of truth-telling that heals.
If you’ve been walking through your own “after,” this one’s for you.

This means so much to me. To rep a brand that doesn’t just sell products to women but that actually loves women.

Every woman deserves to feel safe. Since 2001, the Mary Kay Ash Foundation has donated more than $58 million to support survivors of domestic violence. This year, we are donating $1.3 million in grants to 55 domestic violence shelters and non-profit partners' programs and services across the U.S.

Your support fuels our mission, empowering women to heal and rebuild. 💕

We’ve been holding space all month for the stories that follow survival—the quiet rebuilding that begins after leaving, after loss, after chaos.

This Tuesday at 8 a.m. on YouTube and Spotify, our next episode dives into one of the most tender parts of that journey: rebuilding your financial and emotional foundation after domestic violence.
Money isn’t just dollars and decimals—it’s safety, choice, and trust. In this conversation, Morganne opens up about the fear and guilt that come with financial upheaval and how she learned to redefine worth beyond what she could provide.

Together, we talk about EFT as a way to calm money anxiety, regulate the nervous system, and slowly rebuild confidence and stability.

If you’ve ever had to start from scratch—financially or emotionally—this episode will remind you that healing is possible, and peace is within reach.

💜 Tomorrow at 8 AM ET — A New Chapter of Breaking Through Silence

Our next episode of Getting to After premieres in the morning, and this one cuts deep in the best way.

As part of Domestic Violence Awareness Month, we’re talking about what happens after you’ve left — the quiet, complicated work of transitioning out of survival mode and into a new kind of peace.

In this episode, we share how shame and guilt often tag along for the ride, and how both can still teach us something before they finally let go.

You’ll also experience a gentle EFT tapping session to help release tension and restore trust in your own healing process.

🎧 Breaking Through Silence, Part 3: When Healing Feels Hard
Premieres tomorrow, October 14 at 8 AM ET on YouTube and Spotify.

Bring a friend. Share it with someone who’s rebuilding. Healing feels lighter when we do it together.

And yes… you’ll hear the dogs in the background. Healing’s not always quiet, but it’s always real. 🐾

The Harvest Moon was gorgeous last night — a reminder that even the quiet things eventually come to light. 🌕

Today’s podcast episode picks up that same truth. We’re talking about invisible violence, unseen strength, and the quiet work of trusting yourself again.
