Surgical Associates in Claxton is seeking an experienced Clinical Practice Manager (RN or LPN) to lead the daily operations of our busy physician practice. This full-time, day-shift leadership role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment and is passionate about patient-centered care, team development, and operational excellence.

This position works closely with physicians and hospital leadership to oversee practice operations, billing and collections, staff scheduling, compliance, performance improvement, and strategic planning—while supporting our mission of delivering high-quality care to our community.

✅ RN or LPN required
✅ 3–5 years physician office management experience
✅ Strong knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, BCBS, CPT & ICD coding
✅ Leadership, organization, and communication skills are a must

The votes are in for our annual Department Christmas Door Decorating Contest, and WOW - our EMH family brought the holiday spirit this year! 🎅🎁

With over 15 decorated doors throughout the hospital, our judges had a TOUGH time choosing winners. Every department brought creativity, festivity, and so much Christmas cheer! But we're excited to announce our 2025 winners:

Patient Access knocked it out of the park with a door that had it all - creativity, festivity, and pure holiday magic! 🌟

Our ER team proved that even in the busiest department, there's always time for creative holiday fun! Their door was absolutely inspirational! 🚑🎄

🏥 Welcome Home, Dr. Wolverton! 🏥

Today we had the privilege of welcoming Dr. Michael Wolverton to Evans County at a special lunch and learn with community and business leaders!

Dr. Wolverton, a Savannah native and graduate of Savannah Christian Preparatory School, is returning home to provide world-class orthopedic care right here in our community. He joins Dr. Deshpande at Evans Orthopedic Practice through our partnership with Chatham Orthopaedic Associates.

What this means for our community:

Did you know you can support your community hospital while receiving a dollar-for-dollar Georgia income tax credit? Through the Georgia HEART Hospital Program, taxpayers can make contributions to Evans Memorial Hospital and receive significant Georgia income tax credits.

For Individual Taxpayers:

✅ Make unlimited contributions and receive a 100% Georgia income tax credit (dollar-for-dollar!)
✅ Use contributions in lieu of your 4th quarter estimated payment
✅ "Catch up" on any state income tax shortfalls from earlier in the year
✅ Credits awarded first-come, first-served
For Business Taxpayers:

✅ Businesses electing to pay tax at the entity level: Receive tax credit up to 75% of 2025 state income tax liability
✅ Businesses not electing to pay tax at the entity level: Receive tax credit up to 100% of 2025 state income tax liability
