๐ŸŒ™๐Ÿ’› Wrapping Up SIDS Awareness Month ๐Ÿ’›๐ŸŒ™
As October comes to a close, letโ€™s remember what this month is truly aboutโ€”honoring every baby, supporting every family, and continuing to spread awareness all year long.

Throughout SIDS Awareness Month, weโ€™ve shared ways to protect babies:
๐Ÿ’™ Practice safe sleep every nap and night.
๐Ÿšญ Keep homes smoke-free for healthy air.
๐Ÿ’‰ Stay up to date on vaccines for stronger protection.
๐Ÿซถ Share knowledge and resources with caregivers, friends, and family.

๐Ÿ“Š Because of ongoing awareness and education, SIDS rates have dropped by more than 50% since the 1990sโ€”and with your help, we can keep improving those numbers.

Letโ€™s keep working together to ensure every baby in our community sleeps safely and grows healthy and strong. ๐Ÿ’•

๐ŸŒ World Polio Day | October 24 ๐Ÿงฌ

Today, we unite to raise awareness and renew our commitment to a polio-free world. ๐Ÿ’‰โœจ

Polio once paralyzed hundreds of thousands every year. Thanks to global vaccination, polio cases have dropped by 99% โ€” but the fight isnโ€™t over.

๐Ÿ“… CDC Recommendations for Polio (IPV) Vaccination:
The inactivated poliovirus vaccine (IPV) protects against all three types of poliovirus. The CDC recommends four doses for infants and children at:

๐Ÿ’‰๐Ÿ’™ Vaccines Protect More Than You Think ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’‰
As SIDS Awareness Month winds down, remember: protecting your babyโ€™s health doesnโ€™t stop at safe sleepโ€”immunizations play a major role too.

๐Ÿ“Š Research shows that babies who receive their routine vaccinations are 50% less likely to die from SIDS than those who are not fully immunized. Vaccines strengthen your babyโ€™s immune system and help prevent the illnesses that can increase SIDS risk, such as respiratory and viral infections.

โœ… Keep your babyโ€™s vaccines up to date.
โœ… Follow the recommended schedule from your healthcare provider.
โœ… Combine safe sleep + immunizations for the strongest protection possible.

Every shot counts toward a safer, healthier start. ๐Ÿ’™

๐Ÿ’™ SIDS Awareness Month ๐Ÿ’™
Parents are powerful advocates. Share safe-sleep practices with grandparents, babysitters, and anyone who cares for your baby.
When everyone knows the rules, every nap and night is safer. ๐ŸŒ™โœจ

๐Ÿ“Š Surveys show that nearly 1 in 5 infants is still placed on the stomach to sleep, despite clear guidance to always use the back position. We can change thatโ€”together.
