Baby Paul was born yesterday at 3:56 in the morning, completing his family of 5. 🥰 Welcome to the world, Baby Paul! Mom, Dad, Brother and Sister are so happy you’re here!

💙 9 # 0oz, 21.5"
💙 Accidental unmedicated birth 🤭
💙 Brow presentation

Usually babies tuck their chins to their chests in preparion for birth. This allows the crown of their head to be born first, which is the smallest dimension of their heads. (This is where we get the term “crowning”.) Sometimes babies go rouge, though, either keeping their chin neutral or extending it upwards. This results in the top of their head, forehead (aka “brow”), or even face being born first. All of which are normal, albeit more difficult, to birth vaginally.

Personally, I can vouch for this. After my babies it’s taken a year to feel like my body was back in its normal state, 2 years to feel hormonally balanced, and I’ve yet to go 5 years without adding a baby to our family.

Be gentle with yourself - healing is a journey. 💕🧑‍🍼

Baby boy Miller was born early Tuesday morning, weighing 5lbs 3oz and 18” long. 👶🏼💙

Mom and Dad had no idea their son would be here so soon, expecting to go over due since he’s their first baby. But little Miller just couldn’t wait to meet them, being born at just 37 weeks! He was so excited, in fact, he didn’t worry about getting in position for birth. He was born with his chin untucked, head crooked, and his hand up by his face! 😅🥰 Nevertheless, Mom made her unmedicated labor look easy (seriously, incredible), with her hubby’s unwaving support!

Watching Abby’s inner-strength come into her own with the right supportive environment, was incredible! All the while, her calm and steady husband grounded her, providing a loving strength to lean on. They made an amazing team, that I was honored to support!
