A sweet older mom in town has the most creative way to see her busy son.

Every so often she’ll call and say,
“Can you stop by? The sink is leaking again.”

Or,
“I think the porch light is flickering.”

When he gets there, everything looks just fine. No leak. No flicker.

But there’s always fresh coffee brewing.
Maybe a pie cooling on the counter.
And somehow she just “happened” to make his favorite dinner.

He fixes nothing…
But he stays awhile.

Sometimes the repairs aren’t about pipes or light bulbs.
Sometimes they’re about missing your child and not knowing how else to say it. ❤️

One of the most heartbreaking symptoms of Alzheimer’s disease is paranoia.

Your loved one may:
• Accuse family members of stealing
• Believe someone is trying to harm them
• Become suspicious or fearful
• Hide items and forget where they placed them

Please remember — this is the disease, not the person.

Alzheimer’s affects the brain’s ability to process memory and reality. When something feels “missing,” their mind may create a story to make sense of it.

• Stay calm and don’t argue
• Reassure with kindness
• Help look for the “missing” item
• Redirect the conversation gently
