Dr. Deb Carlin received her Masters and Doctoral degrees from Saint Louis University. She split her undergraduate experience between the University of Illinois and Southern Illinois University, the latter of which where she was awarded a Bachelor of Science degree. Awards for leadership and academic performance from the universities where she earned her undergraduate and then graduate degrees are numerous alongside her standing in Academic Honor Societies. As a social psychologist with strong clinical training at Washington University Medical Center, she speaks, writes and does consulting engagements where the focus is on the performance of people within an organization. Her specialty is in focusing on the attitudes and perceptions that people have and helping them gain clarity so their performance can be at it's peak. In 2012, she began writing a twice monthly column which appears in the St Louis Business Journal, dedicated to introducing the business community to reliable strategies for healthy work/life integration for productivity and overall healthfulness. Dr. Deb Carlin's Partners In Excellence LLC is best known for having repeated success in being able to turn negative situations into positive, productive ones. Many identify her work as enhancing corporate culture, improving community unity, and bettering communication within groups of all types and sizes. And as she herself states, "...all of that helps with overall performance, which is what every client is concerned about." She is a recently inducted member of the National Speakers Association (NSA) and has served on the Board for the NSA in St Louis. An ambitious professional, dedicated to a life of service guiding others to grow into their potential and stretching beyond to reach their dreams, she is a credibly published author, professional speaker, and highly productive, results driven psychological and business consultant. Known to be a Thought Leader, the United States Congress voted her the Outstanding National Leadership Award for her ongoing work in betterment of our society. The theme for the final week of Advent is LOVE.

God so loved the world and Mary so loved God.

What a beautiful love to bring the purest, most unconditional love into the world.

A love for you and me. With no expectations. Nothing to prove or earn. Just to be given and to be received. There is nothing better than that.

As we head into Christmas this week, may we remember this beautiful love that came down. May we not hold back our love but generously pour it out onto others.

More than ever, our world needs love. When we share love, we give others hope, peace, and joy. We give them a glimpse of Jesus.

Reality:
My dog thinks I’m an idiot for getting a couch that is too small to fit us both comfortable…..but she is accepting as long as:
1. Some of the time, she gets the couch and I sit in the nearby comfy chair;
2. I position myself on the couch taking up 50% and throwing my legs over the back so she gets 50%…….
and it works…. 😊🫶🏻

This evening, with the fireplace roaring, we’re watching a great movie staring Jason Alexander in “The Man Who Saved Christmas”……romantic, funny, a bit of drama….Ed Asner plays his father, it’s splendid…..fabulous holiday vibes.
