🐐💔 EMERGENCY – Lucky Needs Our Help Today 💔🐐

Our sweet boy Lucky is a 3 year old San Clemente Island goat. For those of you who know and love him, he has always been a sweet boy. He doesn't back down from a challenge and today he has a challenge greater than he can handle.

Lucky has suffered a serious injury to his leg near the shoulder — either dislocated or broken — and it’s not something that can be easily fixed. He is being taken to NC State today, and his veterinary care is going to be extensive.

We are asking for urgent donations today to help cover Lucky’s vet bills and give him the care he desperately needs. Time matters, and every single dollar helps. Please consider donating, sharing, and keeping Lucky in your thoughts. 💚

This past weekend was a huge success! 🙌🐴🐐
We finished one of the horse run-ins and completed more than half of the goat fencing. Thank you so much to everyone who came out to help and to those who donated supplies — we truly couldn’t do this without you. ❤️

We’re still looking for a few helping hands to help finish the remaining fencing for our horses and goats throughout the week and into this weekend. If you’re available, please message us — we’d love to have you join us! 💚

Who Are We?

Fuzzy Faces Refuge is a 501c3 non-profit whose mission is to provide a safe haven for humans and animals alike. We provide therapeutic riding through our Freedom Steps program, with a PATH International Certified Instructor; we partner with local mental-health professionals to provide animal assisted therapy; and we seek to promote awareness of the plight of critically endangered heritage livestock breeds.

Through education and association with like-minded organizations, therapists, and volunteers within our local community, we strive to make our farm a refuge for every foot and hoof that comes here!
