Congratulations to Sydney Dighton, one of our newest Thornblade Award winners! 🥳

Sydney has been part of the One Vision team for three years and is a vital member of our Development Department. 🌟 She goes above and beyond to ensure One Vision's mission and values shine throughout our communities.

Often the face of One Vision at community events, Sydney engages everyone with a smile that lights up the room and a welcoming presence that draws people in. 💚 Her dedication and grant writing expertise helped secure funding for our new DSP Simulation Lab, improving training, strengthening staff confidence, and enhancing the quality of care for the people we support.

Sydney leads with heart, sees opportunities, and inspires everyone around her to dream bigger for the people we serve. 🙌

Lee has been part of the One Vision team for 20 years and is a key member of our Community Integration team. She has built incredible relationships, supports individuals in pursuing the activities they love, and always shows up with kindness and encouragement.

The weather may be getting colder, but these fair season memories are keeping us warm. 💚

From Alyssa volunteering in the Little Farmers Barn to Eric breaking a board in the ninja experience, and everyone else enjoying animals, rides, and fair food, it was a summer full of laughter and inclusion!🙌

🙏 Please join us in thanking the American Legion of Iowa Foundation for awarding One Vision $500 to support our Direct Care Skills Lab.

This Skills Lab is designed to provide new hires and current staff with hands-on, comprehensive training for delivering exceptional, dignified care to individuals with disabilities. This lab will be a controlled learning environment, allowing staff to develop confidence and competence by simulating real-world healthcare scenarios and daily caregiving responsibilities in a safe and structured setting.
