My name is Alyssa Gutierrez, I am the owner of Mindful Methods LLC in Clear Lake Iowa. I am a Reiki Master & Teacher, As well as Master Practitioner & Teacher in Aahli healing. I am also an Ayurvedic Practitioner, and Master Meditation Teacher in the Buddhist ways of Meditation, Mindfulness, and Vipassana. I have a passion for teaching and offering these services to others.
I have been teaching meditation for over 8 years, both locally and internationally. I received training as a Meditation Teacher formally in various parts of India, but also learned unique training methods in other parts of South America and Asia. Meditation is more than a practice for me. I truly view it as a art of wellness for the mind, body and spirit, that can benefit all.
Apart from being a Meditation Teacher, I also am a Reiki Master Practitioner & Teacher, with two Master certifications in both Usui and Karuna Reiki. I received formal training as a Karuna Master Practitioner & Teacher internationally, and hold many years of practice. I believe that Reiki is a beautiful holistic form of energy healing that benefits the well-being of the mind and body.
As being the only Master Practitioner & Teacher of Aahli healing in the state of Iowa, I feel so very honored to offer this service to others. Aahli healing is a Grecian form of energy healing, similar to Reiki, however different. Aahli healing is a unique form of intuitive energy healing that provides individuals who receive it with clarity of the mind, body, emotional self, and energetic self. The vibration of Aahli provides a truly beautiful “healing” experience to all in whom receive it.
I first heard of Ayurveda from a herbalist here in the states. She too was an Ayurvedic Practitioner, and had prepared an Ayurvedic blend for me for troubles I was having with sleep. Long-story made short, I was amazed by the improvement, this is when my passion for Ayurveda was sparked. This form of holistic medicine was taught to me in its homeland of India. I studied under a 11th generation Ayurvedic doctor during my time in Jaipur India, and than received formal training during various courses I took during the combined time of 21 months that I spent between New Delhi & Mumbai India. Ayurveda as a complement to my services has aided the many clients and students I have, so much. I am excited to be offering Ayurvedic counseling & services in our area!
I also offer various classes and workshops on mindful methods, topics on holistic health & healing, a variety of classes on crystals, minerals, smudging and other like topics.
I feel so very grateful to be back in the states teaching again, and am eager to see where this journey takes me in Clear lake Iowa!
