In order to 4H rodeo you HAVE to be enrolled in 4H Online as well as sending in your entry packet.
There is NO LATE ENTRY, NO EXCEPTIONS for the 4H Online enrollment deadline of April 1st 11:59pm. If you are not enrolled, you will not rodeo, even if you sent your contestant packet in.

SDSU Extension will host a Beyond Ready training for 4-H families and volunteers on April 11 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. online and at various locations around the state.

Great way to learn about State Fair updates!!

SDSU Extension will host a public webinar over Zoom on March 30, 2026, from 7:00-9:00 p.m. CDT to provide updates on the 4-H division of the 2026 South Dakota State Fair.

Livestock Exhibitors! Here is a YLL Opportunity for you! Join us on April 18 from 10AM to Noon to learn about medicated feed, feed lables, monogastric vs. ruminant digestive tracts, and more! It will be a fun time, with lots of hands on activities! Preregistration is preferred by calling the Grant County 4-H Office at 605.432.9221.

Only 10 days left to get your Contestant Entry Packet in before the April 1st deadline!

Avoid these common mistakes that will get your entry returned!
-Forgetting to send the $20 Admin Fee per contestant
-Incorrect names in the Notary Section
-Not being enrolled on 4H online
-Missing the Parent/Guardian Initial for the insurance question at the top of the form
-Not having a parent signature on each event line
-Not having the waiver notarized
