Today, March 30, 2026, National Doctors' Day, we recognize the hard work of every doctor around the world.

The celebration of Doctors' Day dates back to 1933, when Charles B. Almond, MD, first held it in Winder, Georgia. This marked the beginning of a national event recognized by healthcare organizations.

Now, we dedicate this day to those who stay and save, pour their hearts into their work, and contribute to medical research and innovation.

Behind every diagnosis are years of study, sacrifice, and sleepless nights. Doctors choose to serve even in tough situations. Their commitment goes beyond just treating illnesses; they give hope, extend lives, and support patients during their most vulnerable times.

Sometimes, an apple a day does not keep the doctors away; it makes them happy.

Join CPG in congratulating Amber Daniels, soon-to-be CRNP, on being the DNP recipient of the Rising Star award at Penn State for her capstone project. Amber will be presenting her project “Implementation of a Nurse Driven Fall Risk Assessment in Corrections” in Washington, DC today at the 2026 Sigma Nursing Conference “Creating Healthy Work Environments”!!! Thursday March 5 we will be sponsoring the SHIELD BLOOD DRAW from 10-1!!!
The shield screening test specifically screens for colon cancer…however, other cancers may be added. This is free for Medicare patients due for their screening and just for this time…they are offering for all those 45 and older for the cost of $50 if you are due for your screening!!!
