I am so grateful and thrilled to share with you something so special . . . .

I work with Dandylion in their fullness in a lot of ways at Meraki Farmacy, growing them wild all over the farm, always organic, respectful and responsible. We work with all parts of this amazing plant in topical, tisane and tincture forms. They arrive after the coltsfoot and usually alongside beloved Violets. Every year Spring is a big celebration, but this season has been extra special!

Last Autumn I met Melody @ and we talked about craftsmanship, quality botanicals, and potentials for collaboration. When she reached out this early Spring to ask about working together, it was a very easy YES!

It was truly an adventure to hand pick, at the best times (for quality, for pollinators, for chaotic weather, for ethics of practice), tons of Dandelion flowers for the farmacy AND for Space Time Mead and Cider Works for their Dandelion Mead!

The greatest honor of all aspects of my work (stewardship, therapeutics, education) is TRUST! I love working with other herbalists, farmers, teachers, artists - crafts people - especially in Pennsylvania, particularly so close to my hometown.

It has been so exciting to be a part of this, and I can't wait to taste the Mead that we supported with happy, healthy, wild, beloved Flowers of the Dandy Lion from Meraki Farmacy!

I am morbidly curious - professionally and personally affected about a town that is having a really hard time making things work for the families that live and depend on the area for food and business, for a well established, well respected, Farm Market that helps keeps organic farms operational and delivering Food directly to families,
supports hand craftsmanship and dedicated artisans, and otherwise is a central hub for economic, ecologic, relational, meaningful connections for families and small businesses throughout several counties including surviving continued barriers to food, economic stability, and a lived experience of trust with other people.

I expect more from grown ups who work to get into positions of power and influence and make decisions that affects hundreds of families, food access, and have far reaching consequences for folks in several counties.

One of the ways we repair our relationships with our selves ~ families ~ communities ~ more-than-human Kin is
Spending time, directly experiencing, repeatedly over time, with other folks of various experiences, older and younger

Reflecting and sitting with the Stories we were told
About
Right and wrong, hierarchy / supremacy structures (only THIS ONE can be real / true / valid )
And our responsibilities to be honest narrators rooted in reality

We do this in our relationships ~ friends, peers, coworkers, colleagues, comrades

We do this in our mind, our heart and into action
Always repeated, over time, imperfect and present and willing

Reorienting our perceptions, language, choices, actions and advocacy to be respectful and responsible with the abundance of healing and learning with the Plants right here where we are
