There’s many many paths with the Plants and the ones that are rooted in relation, ethics, direct experience repeated over time, advocacy and empowering education are the ones that are trustworthy, reliable, and rooted in integrity. So not matter what happens socially and politically, we are holding the culture and the ground so we have something to stand on. Standing on business !

Anyway. Stoked to attend this free virtual event AND materially support the leaders, advocates, organizers and teachers and colleagues out here fighting for our lives.

You too can prevent totally collapse ! Who you amplify, pay, pay attention to, recommend —- it is powerful. You can align with integrity or do empires work in a cute costume. Few things are truly binary. But you can’t save the world and play the extraction game at the same time.

Alright. Love you mean it see you outside !

Things you can do in your garden this week:
(In Centre County PA or similar areas)

Apply a top layer of compost to existing beds.

Start a new no-dig method bed by layering cardboard, straw and compost.

If voles are a known problem in your garden, setup some vole traps.

Prepare space to sow carrots, peas, cilantro, lettuce and other cool weather crops! (I usually sow many of these crops in my garden around March 20, so this week is a great time to make sure your soil is ready).

Check your fall planted garlic, ensure frost heaves did not push any of the cloves out of the ground. Add additional mulch if needed to keep them well covered and to prevent w**d growth. (I use hay or straw)
