Take comfort in your friends and loved ones. Let everyday moments of connection warm your heart. Affectionate togetherness will temper your melancholy and keep your worries at bay.
This sweet little witch is highly sensitive by nature and has been no stranger to feeling generally anxious, or worried about being odd or out of place. That's why she's basking in the happy glow of the jack-o'-lantern of love, an immortal pumpkin spirit who emanates the inextinguishable warmth of friendship's everlasting glow.
Similarly, you must draw upon the loving support of others now. Our culture is overly fixated on values such as wealth, success, and attractiveness; that ultimately prove hollow when you have no one to share them with. While there is nothing wrong with these, none of them will bring you joy on their own, and all of them pale in comparison to the more lasting and authentic joy of simply having a friend.
Rekindle an old friendship, make a new one, or reach out to friends and family members who are in your life now. Instead of sending a text, consider making a phone call, or writing a letter on paper and putting it in a friends' trip, or get a plane ticket to visit one or more members of your family. While there are certainly times when it's appropriate to end a friendship, be honest with yourself; are you nursing a petty grudge more attentively than you're nourishing the more enduring qualities of companionship, compassion, and care?
It's natural to worry about whether other people love and approve of you but remember that others also worry about the same things. We're all perfectly imperfect, and most often, no matter what has happened in the past, friends and family will be honored and touched you reach out to them and show them positive regard.
Tend to your little sparks of connection, regularly, and keep the fire of friendship burning. In the darkest night, even on single candle flame of love will confer a glorious glow.🐦⬛🎃🧙♀️
