Happy Birthday to the best boy, Garrus!

Garrus had to spend his birthday with us because he broke a tooth!
We know that nobody wants to have dental work on their birthday, so we made sure to make it extra special for him once he woke up from anesthesia 💖

Oh, Steve…

Steve celebrated his 5th birthday yesterday by getting to play with his friends alllllll day at daycare!
However this morning when he woke up, he discovered that he may have overdone it a bit.

Steve came in to have some front limb lameness checked on, and thankfully radiographs suggest that this is just a mild soft tissue injury. Steve got laser therapy, and went him with the order for meds and rest until he feels better 🩷

Feel better soon Steve, we can’t wait for you to get back to being the life of the party!

You’ve heard of an emotional support dog, maybe even an emotional support human…but an emotional support snood?

That’s right. Willow has an emotional support snood that we’ve recently learned helps calm her down during scary things like blood draws. It works a lot like a Thundershirt for her and makes her much less anxious. Singing to her and kissing her helps too 😘

Plus she looks so dang cute and stylish 🥹

It’s always a good day to be a we**ie in a blanket 💖

Nya, our spry and charming little dachshund friend, came in today to have further diagnostics done on some concerning masses that had popped up recently.
We were able to quickly sedate and perform biopsies to send out. At nearly 17 years old, Nya’s protocol for sedation and anesthesia has to be so carefully tailored. She soared through her minor procedure with no issues and woke up beautifully!

This is an example of what we can do for any pet no matter their age thanks to the skilled members of our team.

We love you Nya, thanks for being such a champ today!
