Today we wanted to bring awareness to a common but very serious emergency often seen in cats.

Meet Juno. 🩵 This smart, handsome boy had somehow gotten into hair ties without his family knowing how; they’ve always been so diligent at keeping these things away from him because they know the risks of ingesting something like this.

After profuse and constant vomiting last night and severe lethargy, his family called right when we opened to let us know what was going on. We got Juno in right away, ran diagnostics, and found foreign material on imaging. Luckily we could rearrange Dr. Volkers’ schedule and accommodate the emergency surgery this sweet boy needed today.

We are happy to report that Juno did incredibly well in surgery and recovering from anesthesia. We wish him all the luck this weekend in recovering and can’t wait to see him on Monday 💖

Foreign body obstructions are a common emergency in dogs and cats alike. When in doubt, get your kiddo in to the vet ASAP if you think they may have ingested something they shouldn’t have!

Loki discovered a use for the infamous e-collar. It can turn your blanket into a hooded sweater! 💖

This sweet boy is a long time friend of ours who had a dental and eyelid mass removal today. He handled everything today like he always does - with lots of kisses and bravery.

We were so lucky and had not one, not two, but THREE gingers come to bless us today!

Nile had a big dental procedure and spent all of his recovery time afterwards demanding to be held. 💖

Kai was the wiggliest little boy and just wanted to run around and explore! Until he got neutered that is. 😬

Stella…well, Stella didn’t want to be here. 🤣🤷🏻‍♀️ But she got admired and loved on anyways for her dental recheck!
