🧠💬 Question of the Day:
When you’re stressed, what do you do to relieve it?
We all have our go-to habits — some healthy, some… well… not so much. 😅
And when stress piles up, it’s easy to fall into coping behaviors that actually make depression and anxiety worse.
🚫 Not-so-healthy stress “relievers”
Sure, they feel good in the moment, but long-term they can increase stress, deepen depression, and drain your energy:
• Isolating from everyone
• Overeating or skipping meals
• Sleeping all day
• Scrolling endlessly
• Drinking “just to unwind”
• Avoiding responsibilities
• Negative self-talk
• Overworking to escape feelings
The truth is… stress is real, and mental health matters. But there are healthier ways to cope.
💚 Healthy Stress-Relief Activities
These small shifts can actually help your brain reset and recover:
• Going for a walk or getting fresh air
• Talking to someone you trust
• Journaling
• Doing a hobby that makes you feel good
• Listening to music
• Practicing mindfulness or deep breathing
• Setting boundaries and saying “no”
• Stretching, yoga, or light exercise
• Making time for real rest (not avoidance)
• Getting support when things feel heavy
Sometimes, though, stress and depression stop responding to lifestyle changes alone — and that’s when extra support can make all the difference.
✨ TMS (Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation)
If you’re feeling stuck, drained, or like nothing is helping anymore, TMS may be a powerful next step. It’s a non-invasive, medication-free treatment that helps activate underactive areas of the brain linked to depression.
Your mental health deserves attention, support, and real solutions — not just survival mode.
