FND PSN Parent Support Network (PSN) ensures parents have the training and information they need to ensure their children lead productive, independent lives.

This program, funded by the U.S. Department of Education, Office of Special Education Programs (OSEP), is the Parent Training Information (PTI) center for the following counties: Charlotte, Citrus, Collier, DeSoto, Glades, Hardee, Hendry,
Hernando, Highlands, Hillsborough, Lee, Manatee, Pasco, Pinellas, Sarasota, and Sumter. PTI services help to ensure that parents of children with the full range

of disabilities have the training and information they need to prepare their children for not only school but to be able to lead productive, independent lives to the fullest extent possible

The Florida Youth Leadership Forum (YLF) is an engaging and transformative program for students ages 15–21 with disabilities who are enrolled in high school, college, or homeschool.

Held July 7–11, 2026, at Florida State University in Tallahassee, the forum helps participants develop leadership and self-advocacy skills while exploring the transition to college, employment, and independent living.

Topics include understanding their child's disability and legal rights, building relationships with educators and healthcare professionals, and navigating systems to access necessary resources.
