A huge THANK YOU to everyone who made the 2025 Deaf Expo at St. Petersburg College such an incredible success! 🤟

We’re deeply grateful to our amazing partners, vendors, SPC Foundation, performers, presenters, volunteers, and attendees for bringing your energy, talent, and support to this event.

Because of you, we created a space where creativity and connection truly came to life.

Thank you, SPC staff and students — we couldn’t have done it without you! 💙

Over 600 attendees and 40 incredible vendors joined us for a celebration of language, art, music, and community.

Together, we’re building a stronger, more connected community — one sign, one beat, and one smile at a time. Looking forward to next year!!!

It’s a Deaf Thing - Deaf Expo

It’s a Deaf Thing is a Deaf Expo to help the deaf and hard of hearing community get together. Our goal is to help promote other deaf businesses and deaf-friendly businesses for the deaf community. Also to help the deaf community to meet new people and make new friends.

It’s a Deaf Thing is a nonprofit organization under ProjectDEAF with volunteers. ProjectDEAF & It’s a Deaf Thing are NON-RELIGIOUS & NON-POLITICAL Organization that focus on helping the Deaf Community. There are no employees on the payroll at this organization. We depend on sponsorships and donations to operate this Deaf Expo. It’s a Deaf Thing is founded and hosted by ProjectDEAF. It’s a Deaf Thing was founded in 2015 by David and Bobbi Lind due to the absence of other Deaf Expo. As we are on the rise of hosting massive Deaf Expo, we are thankful to see different Deaf Expo happening. It helps the Deaf business owners to grow. Our goal is to improve the Deaf business owners, Deaf related businesses, and Deaf-friendly businesses.
