MEET PCOMS NEW PRESIDENT!
Dr. Kevin Ache is a board-certified family medicine physician who practices out of Pinellas County. He graduated from the Nova Southeastern University, Kiran C. Patel College of Osteopathic Medicine followed by a residency in Family Medicine at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. He currently serves as a Medical Director in Florida for Optum Home & Community. This segment of Optum Home and Community cares for complex home bound patients and works to keep them at home and out of facilities. The program covers Tampa, Orlando & Miami and is rapidly expanding throughout the state of Florida. They currently have a cohort of over 20K patients and are taking on more every day as they acquire new contracts. During his decade of caring for these complex patients, he has developed protocols and models that help his team to provide the best care possible to this vulnerable population.
Dr. Ache lives with his wife Robyn of 15 years and they have two children, Rylan (13) and Emerson (10). When he is not working, he enjoys coaching his son's soccer team or watching his daughter at her horseback riding lessons. They love spending weekends on the boat exploring the many islands around Pinellas County or doing family projects around the house. Dr. Ache looks forward to his year serving as President of the Pinellas County Osteopathic Medical Society where he hopes to build on the solid foundations that has been laid by those who have served before him.
