On Saturday, February 21st, Pink It Up!: Ska Bands And Fans Against Breast Cancer celebrated their 17th anniversary of their annual event at the Crowbar-Ybor. The turnout from start to finish was fantastic, and the group raised over $3,350.
We are grateful for their continued support toward breast health programs at the hospitals of Morton Plant Mease, specifically the Mammography Voucher Program (MVP), Cancer Patient Support Services (CaPSS) and the Susan Cheek Needler Breast Center at Morton Plant Hospital.
A very special thank you to Bylli Peiper (Founder/Director of Pink It Up!), Danny Smyth (Musical Director of Pink it Up!), and Richard Smyth Jr. (Graphic Artist of Pink it Up!). A special shout out to Tom DeGeorge, Owner of Crowbar for providing a safe space for this wonderful event.
Pink It Up! Ska Bands And Fans Against Breast Cancer is a community organization and yearly benefit in honor of those touched or lost to breast cancer. Pink It Up!
