International Health Clinic Acupuncture, Physical Therapy & Massage in Clearwater. International Health Clinic was established in April 1993 by Dr. Sara Shiu.

She gained her MD from China and became a licensed acupuncturist in the state of Florida. She has been serving clients in Pinellas County for well over 19 years and treated has treated over 250,000 patients. When International Health Clinic was established, she introduced services using a holistic treatment of acupuncture, herbal medicine and Chinese style massage. In 1999 Dr. Shiu moved to Clearwater and partnered with Larry Lester, who is a physical therapist certified in manual therapy. He has extensive experience in hospitals, sports medicine clinics, sub acute care, and outpatient facilities. Their idea was to provide individualized, empathetic, patient centered care and an “East meets West” alternative medicine clinic. This combination focuses on rehabilitation treatments normally dealing mostly with pain symptons, senior resident patients, and terminal cancer patients. In 2007, due to business growth, International Health Clinic broke ground on new facilities at 2878 Roosevelt Boulevard in Clearwater, Florida. As of now they welcome all the new patients and provide treatment for conditions including:
