Good afternoon Nanas Casseroles To Go followers. I know I haven't been on here lately posting menus or pictures but a few days ago I had a heart attack. I'm home now but I am really tired and just want to laze around. It's going to take a little bit for me to get my strength back but until I do I will not be able to do my cooking. I just need your prayers for a speedy recovery asks I will let you know when I am able to do that. When doctor releases me. Have a blessed day. Love yall❤️

Good morning Nana Casseroles To Go followers. I am posting my Casseroles and desserts for the rest of August.
August 21st- Green Chili Enchalada casserole/ Chocolate Cake
August 23rd- Shephards Pie/ Chocolate Pie
August 24th- Cheesy Chicken Parmesean casserole/ Red Velvet cake
August 28th- Cheesy Taco casserole/ Chocolate Pie
August 30th- Cowboy casserole/dozen Avalanch cookies
August 31st- Sausage Breakfast casserole/ Cinnamon Rolls

Today was a full day. Made some Cowboy Candy (candied jalapeños) and then the juice left over from that I jarred up. Will use it for basting meats when grilling or smoking. You can also bump up the flavor in whatever you want to with it. That wasn't enough so I made some butter. I used my grandmother Denmans butter press to make the blocks of butter. Oh man that butter press has been used! It is over 100 years old. I know she was smiling down on me, calling dad and mom over and said, "Look James she is using my butter press " 😥❤️
