Happy (my favorite) Feast Day of Our Lady of Guadalupe!
My family has been in Texas over two hundred years, even if I've only been home for a little over twenty. Growing up, Our Mother was everywhere, waiting to bring me to her son. My, does she have patience! She had to wait for me to explore every accessible religion we have in the West for me to figure out where Our Lord wanted me at. I've found not just God, but community, faith, self refleciton, mysticism and so much more in the Faith.
Thank you Lord, and thank you God, for bringing me home inside and out.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us, sinners, now and at the hour of our death- amen.
