Meet our featured artist for our upcoming art show, Margaret! 🖼️🎨
Born, raised, and educated in England, Margaret is the mother of three wonderful children. After completing college, she taught at the elementary school level before moving to the United States in 1969. Margaret's professional career took several turns, including teaching design, contracting with multiple cruise ship companies, and working on a luxury motor yacht. While on the yacht, she traveled extensively along the east coast and made numerous trips to the Caribbean.
Throughout her life, drawing and painting have been consistent leisure activities for Margaret, who for a time worked on commission creating portraits of both pets and people. She continues to draw today and is considering a return to painting. Margaret feels honored to have the opportunity to participate with Cotting in the art reception. ♥
