Senior services leaders from Lutheran Services Carolinas attended the North Carolina Health Care Facilities Association’s 2026 Annual Convention & Expo at the Four Seasons in Greensboro, N.C. This year’s theme was Peace, Love, and Long-Term Care.

Sessions at the convention included identifying system gaps, artificial intelligence (AI), communicating across generations, regulations, and preparing for the future.

Trinity Rehab also hosted a social for our leaders during the conference. It was a great opportunity to connect, collaborate, and strengthen relationships within the healthcare community.

LSC Executive Director of Forsyth County Operations Cissy McCoy also snagged a photo with Justin Osmond, who was a speaker at the conference.

As our leadership team at Trinity Elms Health & Rehab, we gathered today to mark the beginning of Lent with a meaningful Ash Wednesday service. We reflected on repentance, grace, and the journey toward Easter together as a community.
A special thank you to our wonderful Chaplain Denise, who led us in worship and shared powerful insights about the true meaning of Lent. She reminded us that this season is not just about personal reflection but also about turning outward in love—praying for one another and supporting those around us.
Inspired by her teaching, we’re excited to launch our campus ‘Prayer Partners’ project! Team members are pairing up to pray intentionally for each other throughout Lent, lifting up needs, joys, and hopes in faith.
We’re grateful for this time of spiritual renewal and for the blessing of serving alongside such a dedicated chaplain and compassionate team. May God bless our entire Trinity Elms family—and yours—as we walk through this holy season together. 💜✝️

🌟 What a Paws-itively Perfect Puppy Show! 🌟
Our residents were treated to the sweetest Valentine’s surprise when Sugarbear the Amazing Performing Pup and his wonderful owner Tracy visited Trinity Elms! This adorable Chinese Crested stole every heart during a joyful, love-and-friendship-themed show filled with clever tricks, tail-wagging energy, and lots of Valentine cheer. 💕🐾
Sugarbear danced, twirled, and showed off his special talents while reminding us all how beautiful love, friendship, and simple moments of connection can be. The best part? At the end of the show, Sugarbear trotted around delivering little gifts and soaking up all the gentle pets, hugs, and love from every resident who wanted to say hello. We can’t wait for the next one!

As the snow falls quietly down, whirling in the wind, our dedicated teammates come in with smiles on their faces. It is a joy to behold the snow but even more so to see the spirit of teamwork and dedication to our residents. Trinity Elms teammates are the best! Today on Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. day, we honor the extraordinary legacy of Dr. King- a champion of justice, equality, love and service- who dreamed of a “beloved community “ where everyone is treated with dignity. His timeless words remind us: “Everybody can be great…. because everybody can serve.” At Trinity Elms, we celebrate by coming together in fun, meaningful ways! Residents enjoyed sharing stories of the civil rights era, singing beloved gospel favorites like “We shall Overcome “ and “Take my Hand, Precious Lord” (Dr. King’s own cherished song), and even dancing to uplifting tunes that echo the movement’s spirit of hope and resilience.
