Y’all….I’ve been wanting to try Hosta shoots for years. After planting some a year or two ago, I have enough to spare, so I did it. They are DELICIOUS and so tender! Like a cross between asparagus & a fresh green bean.😋

Here I’ve paired it with Tom Kha G*i (Thai Coconut Chicken Soup) and Japanese Ramen Noodles. 🍲

Hostas are definitely finding their way into our meals every spring from now on!

Okay, so let’s NOT bring back🚬lighting up🚬in a cafe. I would take 10 cent coffee all day, though!☕️

My first harvest of Curly Dock this year!🤩

This nutritious🥬wild green🥬grows all over our yard, so when the leaves are several inches long, I harvest as much as I can. They’re delicious & super nutrient-dense, making them a real treat every Spring.

Did you know? Curly Dock is also called Yellow Dock. The entire plant is used in Herbal medicine, with the root being the most potent. Docks have a bitter flavor & an affinity to the liver.

The seeds can be dried & ground into flour. I like to soak the seeds in Apple Cider Vinegar, then use in place of regular vinegar in recipes.😋
